Introducing the P-pot

Only when researching for the Patent application, did Giles Davies realise he was joining a long line of inventors who had been trying to design a space-saving male urinal since the 1950s! Robin Miller joined with Giles, overseeing project management, and in July 2016, P-pot Ltd was incorporated. It soon became clear that in order to be environmentally responsible, we needed to find a watertight foldable material which didn’t involve any plastic. Initially partnering with a US initiative which was unsuccessful, we eventually linked up with our specialist board supplier in 2019. Finally, partnering with an expert manufacturer in the East Midlands, we’re excited to be bringing the P-pot (an environmental game changer being both plastic free and PFAS free) to market both via NHS Supply Chain for the NHS, and retail for Social Care and Leisure use.
